This session is designed to equip parents with practical mindfulness tools that enhance their well-being, foster a calmer and more connected family environment, and help them:
– Manage stress effectively.
-Improve emotional regulation.
-Enhance their ability to be present with their children.
-Respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively.
-Cultivate empathy and compassion within the family.
Parents will be guided through a selection of mindfulness techniques including breathing practices, mindful movement, meditation and relaxation. There will then be opportunity for parents to share their experiences and strategies for incorporating mindfulness into their daily routine.
When: Thursday 5th December 2024 at 11am to 12pm.
Where: Kids Can Achieve – Cedars Hall, Artillery Place, HA3 6QJ.
Delivered by: Jodie Spiers – Yoga instructor.
All parent sessions are free of charge.
We provide refreshments and yoga mats.
