Support KCA and make a difference

We rely on support from the local authority, grant making trusts and foundations and local community donations and volunteering, without which we could not run the services needed by our children and their families. For every child and their family we help there are many more on the waiting lists for day care, holiday clubs, one2one support or therapies.
How can I get involved?
There are a number of ways you can help depending on the time you have to give. Why not arrange a fundraiser, attend an event or become a corporate volunteer!
Corporate support
Corporate support would be an excellent opportunity for your company to get involved in your local community and make a real difference to the lives of the most vulnerable people living there. You could take on a fundraising challenge, make a regular or one of donation, introduce pay-roll giving, sponsor an event or piece of equipment, sponsor our minibus or volunteer.
Your team could spend some time with the children we support, organise a party or a day trip, or sponsor a one of our projects such the After School Club, one off events. Your company could nominate KCA as your Charity of the Year and provide on-going help and support across all of our services. For example you can make a difference by sponsoring our healthy snacks menu for a year or running costs of our mini buses.

Fundraise for us
Your fundraising helps us to achieve our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with disabilities and their families. To do this, we need funds. Many fundraising ideas are tried and tested and bring in much-needed financial support. Yet, we are also looking for novel fundraising ideas that will raise funds and our charity’s profile.
Can you come up with an exciting new idea? Could you tweak an existing event? There’s always a great excuse to put on an entirely new event or add a twist to something.
Ready to take up the challenge? We can support you with all the promotion and any other support you may require. As a local charity we are in a unique position of being able to demonstrate the difference that your fundraising efforts make. If there is a specific event you would like to take part in please get in contact and we can help secure your place.
We currently have places in the Royal Parks Half Marathon and the Brighton Marathon. If you would like to register for a place please email emma.russell@kidscanachie.co.uk

Amazon wish list
We have also set up an Amazon Wish List full of toys and equipment we need for our centre to best support children with learning disabilities.
Our Amazon Wish List couldn’t be simpler to use – just browse through the items . Make sure you select KCA’s delivery address (and remember to check that you only have items from our wish list in your basket), place your order and Amazon will deliver your kind gift directly to us.
Buy a ticket for Harrow Wins
You can support KCA by entering the Harrow Wins lottery where you could win £25,000 each month. To find out more and to buy your ticket visit: https://www.harrowwins.co.uk/support/kids-can-achieve
