Parent Workshop: Autism awareness and strategies

This two-hour session will help parents understanding of the condition and how they can best support their child.

The first part of the session will explore Common Areas of Difference such as:

  • Social communication
  • Social thinking
  • Rigid and repetitive patterns of behaviour
  • Sensory differences
  • Central cohesion and executive functioning
  • Autism in girls

The 2nd part of the session will be spent looking at support strategies and an opportunity for parents to ask questions.

When: Monday 26 June, 2023 at 11am to 1pm.

Where: Kids Can Achieve – Cedars Hall, Artillery Place, HA3 6QJ.
