More about After School Club
At After School Club your child can do a range of activities including constructive play, arts and crafts and have use of the sensory room. We aim for them to have as much fun as possible and always remember that this is their free time and they should be able to make their own choices.
In addition to this each evening has a special activity:
Mondays 3.30pm - 6pm – Cooking - We can’t guarantee they will be making your tea, but they will have a good time and learn a lot of new things!
Tuesdays 3.30pm - 6pm - We will be trying out our photography skills. The children will be taking photos then editing them on the computer to make something fantastic. We will also be playing some group games.
Wednesdays & Thursdays 3.30pm - 6pm.... 8 to 12 year olds only– Fun activities for older children. We will be swimming at Hatch End and football training for those who like mud! We'll also be going to the local library and various other local attractions.
We are fortunate to receive Big Lottery funding towards Wednesday and Thursday's After School Club, which enables us to provide 8 free places on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Further places on these days will be charged at the usual £8 per session. All places on the other sessions will still cost £8 each.
Friday 3.30pm - 6pm - A time for your child to explore their artistic nature no matter what their limits. They can use new materials such as clay, mosaic, collage and paint to express themselves and explore different themes. We will also be continuing yoga.
We will provide the children with a light snack e.g. toast/sandwich/crackers. If your child has food allergies or intolerance, please let us know.
Please note that after school club does not start until 3.30 and ends at 6pm. There will not be staff available to look after your children before 3.30. There is a late pick up fee of £5 per 15 minutes for children not collected by 6pm.
